Current service scope

NewsGlova is publicly launched. NewsGlova limits reader-facing data processing to the services that are actually enabled. Reader-facing analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking must not be introduced silently; the privacy and consent experience must be updated before or when those systems are enabled.

Information processed for staff security

• Authentication and session information needed to verify authorized newsroom staff.
• Security and audit events needed to detect misuse and preserve editorial accountability.
• A trusted-browser continuity record only when an eligible staff member explicitly chooses the remembered-browser option.

Infrastructure providers

NewsGlova uses Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure for hosting, authentication and database services. Those providers may process technical service data according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Public reader data

Reader-facing data collection should remain proportionate to the features actually enabled. Any analytics, consent tooling, advertising or additional reader-facing service must be accurately disclosed and configured before it is relied on.

Data minimization and access

The system is designed to limit privileged data access to authorized server-side workflows and staff roles. Direct client access to the production newsroom database is denied by default.
